About PIURED

PIURED is a web demo to showcase the power and versatility of piured-engine, an open-source web-based Pump It Up engine.

This project was born in mid 2021 with the only aim of allowing myself to play pump it up without needing to install Stepmania across all my devices. Some friends encouraged me to make a website for the engine -- that's the reason why you are seeing this.

This page does not intend to replace your main Stepmania set-up, but rather complement it so you can play on the go with your phone, or at a friend's place through any browser. This web does not intend to provide a complete a pump it up experience, but rather showcase what piured-engine can do. In this sense, I am aiming this project to be used by a future bigger platform that would join all «Pumpers» around the globe!
